When I decided 12 years ago to create an outdoors radio program, I wanted it to be the best. I wanted it to be entertaining and educational with a touch of humor. I wanted people to look forward to tuning in each week and listening to a quality program with interviews from the greatest anglers and hunters in the industry. But the one thing I recognized and understood; I needed the right combination of professionalism and people with not just a sense of humor, but extensive knowledge in all areas of the great outdoors. Hence, Gary McCoy and Mike Echols, two guys that make this show not just good but great. As a fan myself, I look forward to each and every show (but with one hand on the dump button) because you never know what’s going to go out across the airwaves!!! While I continue to format each show every week, I never have to worry about whether a segment will be entertaining, because I ‘ve got two guys who can make rotten fruit turn into wine. It’s not the money nor the fame for which we do this program, but it’s the fact that we get to sit down as good friends each and every week and talk hunting and fishing. Sometimes you just have to give credit where credit is due!!!
