Growing up in East Texas, I started out fishing small ponds (or tanks as they are called in Texas). I’ve spent a many a day fishing and talking to myself and enjoyed every minute. But my greatest memories fishing or hunting are when I had my brother, cousins or friends with me on these adventures. Besides catching a lot of fish, it’s the conversations, the jokes and recalling of recent trips is what makes for a great day in the outdoors. Each trip is always unique in itself and creates new memories to store in my memory bank. So the next time your headed to the woods or water, take a friend, cousin or family member and create memories that will last a lifetime.
