I have stated this on the show numerous times, but I will say it again.......... tournament Anglers are the greatest conservationist in the whole industry. It is not fair for them to receive the 'BLACK EYE" when a few fish don't survive at a tournament. Meat hunters keep ( and kill ) 100 % of what they catch. Weekend anglers keep ( and eat ) a large percent of what they catch. All of this is perfectly legal and acceptable by your State Agency. So quit getting on a soapbox when 2 to 5 % of the bass caught in a tournament don't survive. Studies have shown that tournaments do not affect the overall population of bass in a lake.
Or.....are you just mad because the 3 floaters you saw are not in your freezer???????
